Organic cotton uses less water than traditional cotton. It produces around 46% less co2 while depositing CO2 into the soil, enhancing soil fertility. It is non GM and grown without the use of harmful pesticides and fertilizers. This diminishes farmer health related problems and the burden of pesticide debt. Our organic cotton is certified by the world’s leading standard for organic fibers, G.O.T.S.

 

Our fur is 100% biodegradable, while respecting animal well-being. It is made from groomed animal fiber (mohair) that is reclaimed from angora goats, the same way wool is from sheep. Our fur fibers are secured in 100% cotton backing fabric. so, unlike traditional fur, there is no need to use animal skin. We are currently working to switch the traditional cotton backing to 100% G.O.T.S certified organic cotton.

We experiment with various types of wool combinations to find the highest performing sustainable blend. The wool in this knitted yarn is organic and G.O.T.S certified, the world’s leading textile processing standard for organic fibers. Alpaca is added for smoothness, softness and durability. Alpacas are raised without the need for harmful chemicals, minimizing the impact of their farming on the environment.

 

 

Our denim is either rinse washed or delicately distressed using the lowest impact enzymes on the market and minimizing the need for harmful chemicals. We also limit the amount of elastane we use to 2%, while still offering a ideal fit. We are exploring ways to phase out elastane entirely.

 

 

 

 

Recycled polyester can be blended with other fibers to enhance the reliability and performance of a garment, while taking plastic waste out of the environment. Our technical cotton is 66% recycled polyester and 34% organic cotton. All cotton in our technical cotton is 100% organic and G.O.T.S certified.

 

 

 

We assure that all our virgin wool is G.O.T.S certified. This means; low impact chemical use, reduced water and energy consumption during processing, rigorous wastewater treatment and that workers in our wool supply chain are respected under International Labor Organization standards. We are also committed to our animal well-being principles that respect the rights of animals and the protection of their habitats.

They have full supply chain traceability, tracking every raw material back to its farm source.

 

 

Our puffer garments are made from 100% recycled polyester, that is water-resistant, lightweight and warm. They are filled with 100% recycled goose and duck down, which has a similar performance, quality and benefits to virgin down, without any risk to animal well-being. Our polyester is recycled from post-consumer waste and is Global Recycled Standard certified.

 

 

Our limonta fabric is made from 100% recycled polyester that is Global Recycled Standard certified. Our polyester is recycled from post-consumer waste and will lengthen the life of these durable fibers redirecting them from landfill.

 

 

While the negative impact of virgin cashmere is extremely high, we will use substitutes such as regenerated baby camel hair. We restore leftover baby camel fabric offcuts, which are mechanically revamped into new yarn. This process has been widely used by our supplier, since the 1800’s, supporting conventional expertise and prolonging the life of this lightweight and luxurious fiber.

Tencel is the only viscose that is sustainably produced using the Lenzing process, which doesn’t discharge harmful chemicals into the environment. Tencel also acts as a carbon sink, taking carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere and keeping it on the ground.

 

 

Our silk comes from conventional sources. We are working to change from conventional to organic silk. We have tested other alternatives, Peace Silk for example, but found that supporting our existing supplier to create a fully certified supply chain of G.O.T.S organic silk is a premium option and Our silk is dyed using low impact G.O.T.S certified dyes.
